Copyright notice and terms of use for the music, artwork and content of Timbre Atlas Music and all of its music channels.

1. Copyright ownership

All copyright and related rights in the content of this website and in the music, recordings and channels presented on it are owned exclusively by the owner of Timbre Atlas Music (the „Owner“), including all of its music channels and genres, unless a different owner is expressly stated.

2. Protected content

The following material is protected by copyright and by other intellectual property laws and international treaties, including the Berne Convention:

all musical works, compositions, arrangements, melodies and lyrics;
all sound recordings, masters, stems, mixes, edits, remixes and versions of them;
album, single and playlist artwork, cover images, logos, channel names and visual branding;
videos, short clips, visualisers, animations and other audiovisual material;
texts, descriptions, titles, graphics, layout, design and the overall look and feel of this website.

3. What you may do

You are welcome to enjoy and share our music in the ways our official channels and the streaming platforms provide for. Without asking for permission you may:

listen to the music through the official streaming platforms and stores for personal, non-commercial purposes;
share links to this website, to our albums and to our official channels and social media profiles;
use the share and embed functions that the streaming platforms themselves offer;
quote short excerpts of our texts for news, review or commentary, provided that you credit the source and link back to this website.

4. What requires written permission

Except as stated above, no part of our content may be used without the prior written permission of the Owner. In particular, it is not permitted to:

use our names, logos, artwork or branding in a way that suggests a connection with, or endorsement by, the Owner;
remove, alter or obscure any copyright notice, credit, watermark or other rights information.

Any use that is not expressly permitted in this notice is reserved to the Owner.

5. Automated use, text and data mining, and AI training

The Owner expressly reserves all rights in the content of this website and in the music and artwork presented on it. Without prior written permission, it is not permitted to use this content, in whole or in part, for text and data mining, for scraping or bulk downloading, or to train, fine-tune, test or benchmark any artificial intelligence or machine learning model, including models that generate music, audio, voices, images or text. Technical measures to detect and block such use may be applied.

6. Requesting permission or a licence

If you would like to use our music, recordings, artwork or other content, for example for a video, a podcast, a film, an event, a broadcast or a commercial project, please ask first. Send your request through our contact form and tell us:

which content you would like to use and in which form;
where, how, and for how long it would be used;
whether the use is commercial, and who the user or publisher is.

Permission is only valid if it is given in writing by the Owner. We may grant or refuse permission at our discretion, and may attach conditions or fees. A permission for one use does not extend to any other use.

7. Moral rights and credit

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Owner asserts the right to be identified as the author of the works and to object to any distortion, mutilation or other modification of them that would be prejudicial to the Owner’s honour or reputation. Where permission to use the content is granted, the credit „Timbre Atlas Music“ or the credit stated in the permission must be shown.

8. Third-party content and trademarks

The names, logos and trademarks of streaming platforms, stores and social networks shown on this website, such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest, belong to their respective owners. They are shown only to help visitors find our music, and their use does not imply any sponsorship or endorsement. This website is not affiliated with these companies.

9. Infringement and enforcement

The Owner takes the protection of its rights seriously. Unauthorised copying, publication, distribution or other use of our content is a violation of copyright law and may result in the removal of the content, claims for damages and other remedies, and legal action in any jurisdiction in which the infringement takes place, without further notice.
